Longspan Shelving

Longspan shelving is a heavy duty hand loaded storage system that is designed to store heavy, large and bulky items. The long span of the shelves can extend up to a length of 2.4m and gives a shelf depth of 1.2m front to back. Stepped beams are designed to take 25mm thick chipboard or steel panels to give a flush finish. Longspan shelving can also be used to create two tier storage systems that make very efficient use of available headroom. Longspan Shelving is easily and quickly installed and can is easy to adjust to meet your changing needs. Height of the racks can extend up to 7m. However, this is the type of shelving system that you would be better off discussing with our sales office because there are many options and methods of design. Carton Live

Carton live storage or ‘flow racking’ operates on the same principle as pallet live storage but is used for stock which needs to be hand-loaded and picked. Inclined trays of roller tracks set at levels in the storage bays allow goods to roll under gravity down dedicated lanes within the trays, from the loading to the picking face. By using T2 Storage Solutions live storage systems order picking times are reduced and errors minimised as not only

are items presented precisely at the picking face but also effective management of the throughput and stock levels of goods can be easily maintained. Carton flow racking provides an excellent, labour and space-efficient method of ‘first-in - first-out’ storage particularly in areas handling and using fast moving product lines. ie for example assembly packing and despatch.

2 Tier Shelving Installation

Multi-tier racking or more commonly “two tier” racking is created using Longspan racking, Unirack Shelving or adjustable pallet racking. Additional storage floors can be incorporated into the rack with walkways to allow for pedestrian access. This maximises all available headroom and is ideal for storing a wide variety of packaged goods for hand picking. This style of racking is a very economical use of your cubic space and can accommodate a range of storage products, especially archive storage or manual order picking applications.

Unirack Shelving is easy to build, bolt free and has great strength and durability. With its hard wearing and bright zinc coated steel finish this economy shelving system is at home in any environment. The wide range of depths and widths offers flexible storage solutions. Standard Unirack shelving bays are 2m high but frames are available up to a height of 5m. Additional shelf levels and a wide range of accessories such as mesh cladding, shelf dividers, modular containers and label holders provide great versatility allowing systems to be designed to meet specific needs. The modular containers are excellent substitutes for flat shelves and enable the storage of loose unboxed parts which would not be stable on a flat shelf. Unirack is also a very adaptable 2 tier shelving system that can incorporate staircases, walkways and handrails. The purpose of such a structure is to maximise the available headroom without the need for specialist access equipment. Garment hanging racks can be designed using the economy shelving on a single or double sided basis and we can also supply bays for long garments. Bays can be up to 5 metres in height and can also incorporate shelves within the same bay. The oval shaped beams are compatible with most types of hanger and can support loads up to 80kg on a 1200mm wide bay.

Chrome Wire Shelving

Livewire is a bright chrome finish wire shelving system featuring a "wavy wire" shelf panels. Livewire is very easy to assemble and has open wire shelves that allow light to penetrate and therefore reduces the possible build up of dust. Posts are adjustable every 25mm and are supplied with adjustable feet for extra stability on uneven surfaces. Minimum shelf loading - 125Kgs UDL. Suitable for dry food storage, retail display and archive storage applications.

Quartermaster shelving features shelf edges manufacturerd with solid steel channel to aid easier cleaning. Shelf panels are manufactured in the UK and are constructed from 1.2mm grade 304 stainless steel sheet that are suitable for dry food storage, retail display and archive storage applications. If required, the shelves can be supplied with an antibacterial nylon coating employing nano-silver technology to provide a surafce microbial protection that makes a significant contribution in reducing cross contamination. Posts are adjustable every 62mm and are supplied with adjustable feet for extra stability on uneven surfaces. Minimum shelf loading - 125Kgs UDL.
